Hunger, misery, captivity; which would you feel first when you're stranded on an island with nothing?
You have no one to trust, except yourself and your instincts. You're utterly alone...
With hunger seeping into your very bones, you have to find a way out. -Unless, of course, you're afraid of becoming mere prey thrown before the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse-
They say misfortunes always befall people. If you think you're any different from a mere piece of flesh floating around, and you're on a deserted island, proving it becomes a necessity. At least in the eyes of the predators... Though, what could be the most dangerous predator on an island? Plants, animals, aquatic creatures, perhaps natural disasters; or perhaps the human body itself.
What protects a person from themselves is their mind and creativity. What distinguishes them from animals and simple plants is their ability to meet their own needs by putting their thoughts into action. A wise person would say, "Man cannot escape himself; he is always a prisoner of his own limitations." Yet, it's not entirely useless; even if the mind can't protect itself from itself, it can still produce things that will protect that small, bloody, and sweet brain from becoming prey to a random predator. Hopefully...
Are you hungry? You'd better be... Because they are quite hungry. More hungry than you can imagine...
